Reflection 4

For the last quarter, I have learned so many things in the subject ICT and while learning throughout theast quarter. I had many discoveries that I made in which those discoveries I had with my classmates was all about on how to use Photoshop. How and what to edit in a picture until they have a beautiful design for the person to be motivated in reading the web. For me not knowing about some simple steps on how to photoshop, I feel so out of place but now that I've learned about it, I feel so proud that I am now able to edit ot a picture.

Though while I was learning about the the photoshop, and how and what to edit in a picture. I have encountered problems during the editing  of a poster for our project. For not knowing some basic steps in photoshopping, it was hard since one must know or they will not be able to make a beautiful poster or picture.

Regardless of this, I am thankful that my hard work on being able to edit has made me more confident in  photoshopping. That while doing this, I continue to have more confidence and at the same time I am having fun. Even though it's hard, I think to myself that this is for the betterment of me to know things like doing a simple web design.

Moving on, I will continue to remember how to photoshop  because it's very fun. And I continue to look forward to the new things that I might learn in the near future.

My Dream, My Future

Some people already have their goals set and some are still struggling on what they want to be in the future, and I am one of them. But to think that I wanted to become so many things when I was a child made me rethink on what I really should take now.

When I was a child, I dreamt of many things. I’ve wanted to be a nurse, a doctor, a painter and many many other things I could think of as a child. But what is my dream now?

Well my dream is to be a successful engineer like my uncle. Just like him, when I finnaly get to be an engineer, I want to travel the world with my family and have my parents enjoy their lives because of their sacrifices for me.

Kannawidan Festival

Ilocos Sur is a beautiful province located in the northern part of Luzon. It is a province rich in culture that represents the ancient Spanish and Filipino heritage. To show and share their treasures to the whole world, the locals conceived a festival that highlights these cultural traditions and they called it the “Kannadiwan Festival”. This festival at the end of January celebrates the best of Ilocos Sur culture, from traditional dress and folk dance to tribal rituals and marching band contests.

And by celebrating it, popular artists and popular bands from around the Philippines came and showed an enjoyable show to the people who visited the Tamag Grounds.

Things  like dance craze, battle of the bands, Mr. Kannawidan muscle showdown, Search for Saniata, car and motorcycle show, street dancing and showdown of OTOPs where also shown. 

117th High School Day Celebration

A celebration is a special enjoyable event that people organize because something pleasant has happened. And in this case, ours is to celebrate the foundation of our school.

One of the most awaited occassions in any school is the Foundation Day. Great excitement, fun activties and many more other things memorable for the people of the Ilocos Sur National High School. Not only the staffs, teachers and students of ISNHS may celebrate this but others like family and friends outside school may celebrate it with us. They are filled with excitement when watchibg the teachers and students show a field demo, which is the school’s tradition. By participating in watching the school’s activities even when they are not involved in the activites like parade and the field demo. But by watching their family or friend paticipating in it, it is enough for them to enjoy it altogether.

Change Starts with Me

As a youth, on our stage of life of still developing, I must learn to see the beauty of our world. That I should help making it more peaceful and happy. 

I will see to it that I will be a good daughter to my parents, a role model to my sibling and to my friends. I will make sure that I will be a good citizen to help our society a better place.

My New Year

“Staycation” is the word they use when one stays home during vacation and that’s exactly what I did. 
Everyone was in festive mood as usual during and after Christmas. It was a very busy day in particular during the New years Eve as we get to prepare for the food for New year’s celebration. I got to bake some goodies with my Aunt. We baked banana muffin and brownies which i shared with the kids in our neighborhood. I can say it was pretty good since they keep asking for more. Afterwhich,  I play  mobile legends with my brother and binge watched some Netflix series with my Aunt. We’ve watched The Christmas Chronicles, a film about siblings who accidentally caught Santa Claus and get to join him in his adventure. We also watched Bird Box,  about an unexplained phenomenon when one get to look a supernatural entities you die by forcing a suicide. And then we sang along with Taylor Swift’s Reputation Stadium Tour Concert.
After that we went to stroll around in Vigan with my uncle who came home for vacation from Manila. We walked along Vigan heritage with our dog Chloe and Max.
At night, we had a simple dinner with my family and watched the Holy Mass on TV as we are afraid of firecrackers.
On New Year’s day, 
Another relative on my father’s side also arrived from Manila, my Zio Roder and Zia Glen, we went to Robinson’s Ilocos Norte. We did a little shopping  for me and my brother as our Christmas gift from them. 
So overall, my New Year was exhausting but I enjoyed it alot as i get to be with my loved ones.

Reflection 3

I had many discoveries that I made in which those discoveries I had with my classmates was all about tags, web designs, and how, when and what to put in the web design until they have a beautiful design for the person to be motivated in reading the web. For me not knowing about some simple tags to put in a web design, I feel so out of place but now that I've learned about tags, I feel so proud that I am now able to create a web design.

Though while I was learning about the tags, web designs, and how, when and what to put in the web design. I have encountered problems during the making  of a web design for our project. For not knowing some basic tags, it was hard since one must know or they will not be able to make a beautiful web design.

Regardless of this, I am thankful that my hard work in to making web designs has made me more confident in designing webs. That while doing this, I continue to have more confidence and at the same time I am having fun. Even though it's hard, I think to myself that this is for the betterment of me to know things like doing a simple web design.
